Wiggs Field Goal Attempt. Well I have seen the close up I took at game yesterday. As you can see the ball is right at the impact point of the block. It appears the block occurred at around 3 yards of penetration or 4 yards away from Wiggs. The kick was straight, however, the ball was actually blocked with the defenders elbow, so its only about 5 feet off the ground a yard 4, far too low at the point. The ball should be between 8 and 9 feet off the ground at yard four, especially on a short kick where distance is of no concern. If there had not been any penetration, someone at the line of scrimmage would have been able to block this by obtaining 10 foot extension.
